A little about me: I'm originally from Chicago, Illinois. (Yes the city not the "burbs") Relocated to Wheeling, Illinois for 2 years, then to Las Vegas in 2001. I retired form the Chicago Police Department in 1990, deciding to run my business full time. My business was a retail store, Stoner Enterprises, Inc. which sold Police & Fire giftware. I also was the contractor for the Chicago Police & Cook County Sheriff badges until 1995. I closed the retail store in 1995 and moved it to the internet where it still operates today as www.StonerConnection.com. It operates smoothly and easily since 1986 and does not conflict with my full-time real estate career. I became a Las Vegas Realtor in 2003 with Realty Executives. With 30 years sales experience, I felt it was an extension of the sales interest which I've always enjoyed and excelled. My goal is to pay close attention to my client's needs. My strong points are my attention to detail and organizational skills. I believe in quality not quantity. I'm more interested in serving my client's interests than how much money I'll make on "the deal". I feel that if I do the job, the money will come so I don't pay any attention to "what's in it for me." As a result of my quality of service most of my current business is now from referrals. I am an investment specialist. This means that I specialize in working with in and out-of-state investors. As an investor myself, I know how to work with clients with their goals in mind. I handle tenants with ease and understanding. I have a cache of necessary personnel to handle the clients needs. (i.e. handymen, painters, cleaning crews, accountants, etc.) For the out-of-state client, I am their eyes and ears in Las Vegas. Many of my clients have purchased their investments, sight unseen, except for pictures and floor plans. I have a complete understanding and working knowledge of: 1031 exchanges, capital gains issues, net sheets, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, foreclosures, bankruptcy sales/purchases, Section 8 housing & tenants, short sales, to name only a few. When it comes time to
liquidate the asset, my clients can trust me to do so efficiently. I
have unique state-of-the art marketing techniques that allow me to sell
their most valuable investment quickly and at the highest possible price
in the current market.
